Second Semester Seniors Let It Slide

Example 1: Dominique DeStefano

8:00 Dominique wakes up to prepare for her school day.
9:00 Arrives late to second period.
8:55-9:45 Psych. Fitz forces Dominique to read for the class, “because she is here.”
9:57-10:47 Instead of attending her Economics class, Dominique goes to the office for a meeting with the administration. They tell her she is already considered a “truant” and cannot miss anymore school.
10:52-11:45 Stat.
11:45-12:20 Lunch. Dominique leaves for cupcakes with friends. Upon returning to school they park their car in the visitor’s lot to avoid detention.
12:25-1:15 English.
1:20-2:10 Art. On average, Dominique attends this class twice a week. She calls her dad for a late lunch instead.
1:20-3:30 After school, Dominique returns to her house with Haley, her only other friend with five classes.
3:30-6:00 Sean Condon comes over and draws while Dominique does homework.
6:00-9:00 Once Dominique’s mom has returned home, she lazes about the house and thinks about trying some more schoolwork.
9:00-12:00 Dominique finishes up some homework, and then goes to sleep to prepare for another strenuous day.

Example 2: David Misaka

7:30 David wakes up in order to arrive to school on time, for the sake of his sophomore carpool.
8:00-8:15 Sits in his car until after the second bell has rung, then walks to first period with no second thoughts about being tardy.
8:15-8:50 Biotech with Mrs. Denny. The class ventures out to the creek and garden to explore nature. Enough said.
8:55-9:45 David goes to his Foods 1 class. He hangs out with his only fellow senior Dylan Wilson, and the two order freshmen to cook for them.
9:57-10:47 Econ with Frippiat. The class watches The Union, a Canadian documentary about marijuana usage and legalization.
11:45-12:20 Lunch.
12:40-1:25 English with Kosciuch. “I sit in back and usually don’t take part in the discussions.”
2:20-3:05 Skates and hangs out with Grant Huhn.
6:30-9:30 Lacrosse practice. Helps everyone else due to an injury received in the first game of the season. After practice the team gives each other haircuts, mullets, of course, so as not to ruin the flow.
9:30-1:00 Listens to music, watches TV, and sits around. Does not open his backpack, which is still in the car.
