Jazayeri Welcomes Daughter

On Wednesday, March 23, social studies teacher Nader Jazayeri and his wife welcomed their new daughter into the world. Nora Evelyn Jazayeri was born at 7:15 p.m. and weighed six pounds, eight ounces. She was 19 inches long.

Jazayeri and his wife chose their daughter’s name based on the fact that they both liked the name Nora, and Evelyn was the name of her great grandmother.

Nora joins Jazayeri’s almost two-year-old son, Henry, as the newest member of the family. “Henry LOVES her,” Jazayeri said. “He constantly goes up to her and kisses her and wants to hold her. It’s adorable.”

In the past three years, Miramonte staffers have had about five newborns.

Jazayeri is looking forward to seeing how his kids interact as they get older. He is also excited to learn how to put Nora’s hair in cool braids.
