Courtney Attard, Staff Writer

The Varsity girls’ soccer team played a close game against Campo last Friday, unfortunately losing 2-1. The girls posessed the ball very well in the first half, creating several goal scoring opportunities. Campo scored first from outside the 18 yard box. At halftime the score was 1-0 Campo. In the second half, Junior Megan Reid, center forward, dribbled past three opponents and scored the only goal by Miramonte after arriving late directly from a basketball game.

“We did really well in the first half, but we kind of lost it in the second half,” said Junior Kayla Sigaroudi.
