The Lady Mats had a successful previous week as they won both games they played. On Tuesday, March 12 the women’s lacrosse team played Dublin and won 12-11. The Mats admit they had it was a rough start because they were slow on the draw in addition to Dublin’s aggressive offense, but pulled out a win once they attacked players more.

On Friday, March 15 the team played Campolindo and won 10-7 with featured goals from Lauren Dougherty ‘13, Hannah Friel ‘14 and an assist from Maddie Geary ‘15. The Mats prepared for this game by focusing in silence during stretches and transitioning to loud shuttle warm ups. After being tied up with Campo at the beginning of the game, the Lady Mats had an inspirational talk by their coach and pulled out a win. This week they play against Las Lomas for a heated match.
