Women’s Golf Starts Off Season with Breaking Record

Women’s Golf is in season and has already played against Alhambra, Acalanes, and Dublin high schools. Miramonte started strong by winning their match against Alhambra with a 235 vs 336 victory. Unfortunately Miramonte lost against Acalanes with a score of 231 vs their score of 215. The week ended with a trimatch against Dublin High School and Campolindo. Miramonte Women’s Golf lost the match but broke their record for lowest team score with a 226.

“We lost against Dublin but 226 is the lowest team score we’ve had in two years. By the end of the season, our goal is 225,” co-captain and senior Claire Marvin said. “We didn’t expect to win against Dublin but it was good practice to play against such good players. This match really encouraged us to step up our game.”
