Women’s Volleyball lost last Tuesday night to Campo, with Campo winning with 3 sets to 1. The Matadors won the first set, with strong offensive play from Maddie Goodreault ‘14 and Emily Emily Fabian ‘16. However, the Cougars rebounded strongly, winning the next three sets and taking the win. The Cougars were led by Kirsten Sibley ‘16 and Kelley Wirth ‘15.

“The fans were incredibly supportive and even though we lost our team put in a lot of effort and has come along way from last year. We play Campo again later this season and will be working for a different outcome,” Julia Duncan ‘14 said.

Next up are the Dougherty Valley Wildcats, who the Matadors face tomorrow at Dougherty Valley. The Matadors are hoping for an easy league win to follow their loss to Campo. Last time the Matadors faced the Wildcats, the Mats won 3-1.
