Matadors Dress-up for a ‘Love Island’ Themed Spirit Day

Students wore Love Island themed attire today, donning aloha shirts and linen pants in a nod to the popular reality TV show.

Senior Audrey Dugan accessorized on par with today’s theme, as she wore a Hibiscus flower claw-clip in her hair in a half-up half-down. “I got it from the ABC store in O’ahu, below my grandparents apartment,” Dugan said. Audrey saw the first season of Love Island. “I haven’t seen the new season of Love Island yet, but the last one was really good,” Dugan said.

As a senior this year, it is my fourth and final year on The Mirador. I’m excited to continue my role on the Editorial Board as the Social Media Director for the second year. In this role, I manage and create content uploaded to our social media pages, @miramontemirador and @mirador.sports. I also work with the Online Team to create graphics for online and print. I love being on The Mirador and am very grateful for the skills and community I’ve gained in room 442.
