On Friday, Matadors crowded the big gym to partake in the back-to-school rally. New rally leaders — seniors Jack Rohr, Katrina White, and Ashley Williams — brought spirited energy, guiding student volunteers through each activity, from musical chairs to a blindfolded pillow fight. A bright cheer performance was followed by an introduction of the public speaking and Latin teams, who both achieved success over the summers in their respective tournaments.

Emma Wong, Online Editor-in-Chief
Hi! My name is Emma, and I'm The Mirador's Online Editor-in-Chief. I love to tell stories, and joining journalism has been one of the best acts of my high school journey. Through this class, I've made & strengthened friendships and learned how to uplift not only my voice, but also those of others. I'm excited to spend my senior year with the Mirador's Issue 68 team!
Grace Wood, Print Editor-in-Chief
Hello! My name is Grace, and I’m one of The Mirador’s Editors-in-Chief. During freshman year, I didn’t put much thought into signing up for journalism; however, it has turned out to be one of my better decisions. The Mirador has given me a unique way to connect with Miramonte—and the people who come with it. For one last year, I am happy to spend period three in room 441.
