Hi, I'm Sophia Acevedo and this is my first year being a staff writer for the Mirador. One of the main reasons I took Mirador is because I love journalistic writing and you get a lot of freedom while writing for Miramonte's newspaper. I also love how we get to collaborate with each other to create such a unique piece of work. I'm really excited about this year's issues and I can't wait for others to read them too!
